EPS PRODUCTION LINE PROCESS

2023-07-07

EPS (Expandable Polystyrene) is a lightweight foam commonly used in packaging and construction materials. Its production process goes through multiple links to ensure high-quality finished products.

First, the raw material polystyrene pellets are fed into the expander. Under the action of high temperature and pressure, the particles expand to form tiny bubble structures.

Next, the expanded pellets are fed into a mold through a delivery system. Molds can be customized into various shapes and sizes as required.

Once the pellets are filled into the mold, a heat source releases steam, which further expands the pellets and bonds them together into a uniform block-like structure.

Subsequently, after a period of cooling, the block-like structure becomes hard and can be removed from the mold.

The removed blocks are trimmed and cut to obtain the desired shape and size of the final product.

Finally, after quality inspection and packaging, EPS products are ready to leave the factory and are used in various fields such as packaging protection and building insulation.

This production process ensures that EPS products are lightweight, durable and have excellent insulating properties. Through continuous technological innovation and quality control, EPS production can meet the needs of various industries and play an important role in the fields of packaging and construction.
