EPS Pre-Expander is a device that is commonly used in the production of expanded polystyrene products. The EPS Pre-Expander increases the output of an EPS production line by up to 30%. It does this by heating the polystyrene beads to just below their melting point, then forcing them through a small hole, called a die, under high pressure. This process creates very small bubbles in the polystyrene, which are then expanded by blowing hot air through them.
